FULL MOON DAY

There was a Full Moon this morning so watch out! Crazy things happen under Full Moons. Just so ya know! LOL!
Anyway, my sister just left to go to Chicago today, her brother-in-laws daughter is getting married...at least I think that's what she's going for. Her husband's family has so many people I can never keep em straight. So, she's going to the wedding and then after that her and hubby are going up to Wisconsin to check on some geneology (did I spell that right? probably not...lol!) records at the local library where his family originated. He's into his family tree and all that.
I'd love to find out about my family tree, however most of the family members of mine are not here anymore so I probably wouldn't get much info to start from. I would love to time travel and go back to my father's roots in Germany and see what they were like and where I came from. But then, who knows, maybe ignorance really is bliss. I often wonder just what kind of genes really do run through my blood if you know what I mean. Ha!
Anyway, I'm getting ready to swing by my sister's house to pick up her mail. She should be back by Wednesday of this week at the latest and I told her I'd gather her mail for her.
So, that's my day. Exciting, huh? Then back here to this machine to work on my Zazzle Store, ShopAround.
I actually had two sales today. I sold 20 of my BBQ Invites and this funny Monkey Mug. WooHoo!
Happy Days! I'm doing my Happy Dance!
So, I'm off to gather the mail...later guys! Have a great weekend!

Happy Birthday Moon Children!

Well the Sun just entered into the water sign of Cancer last night. All you moon children will start to feel a little more comfortable in your own skin. Mercury is heading right behind and will be conjuncting the Sun in Cancer also. You Cancerians, especially the ones born in June with early degrees of the sign may find themselves having more on their plate than they can handle, but now is the time to take advantage of this great aspect. It will keep your head clear and you will find that communications in general will be highlighted.
Mars is sextiling the Sun in the sign of Virgo, which is a stress reliever and those of you (which is rare for a moon child) that have a short fuse will find yourselves a little more relaxed and laid back. For the lighthearted Cancerians you will be laughing a lot more these days.
The only thing I see you should be looking out for is sudden surprises. Uranus is squaring you early Moon Children, which can wreak a little havoc as you may find some unexpected, not so calm surprises these days. Be cautious when driving or using any electrical equipment.
Pluto is opposing your Sun at this time, so if you feel the need to rip everything apart and start over don't be at all surprised. These days you could find yourself in a big transitional period of your life.
This won't happen until much later for the later degrees of your sign.

Lava Brownies

Okay, as requested per Judy, here is the recipe for my Lava Brownies:

Crock Pot Lava Brownies

1 Box 20 oz. Brownie Mix
1 Cup Hot Water
1 Cup Chocolate Syrup
2 Handfuls Milk Chocolate Morsels

Mix Brownies according to package directions (I always use the fudgy, not the cake-like recipe instructions).
Add 2 handfuls of Milk Chocolate Morsels.
Mix together the Hot Water and Chocolate Syrup.
Spray bottom & sides of Crock Pot with Pam Spray (I don't like to use Pam Spray so I just lined the bottom of my crock pot with Reynold's Non-Stick Foil).

Pour Brownie mixture into crock pot.
Pour Hot Water & Syrup mixture over Brownie batter.

Turn crock pot on HIGH and let cook for 2-1/2 to 3 hours. I cooked mine on 2-1/2. I like my brownies gooey and at this time they turned out perfect.

Once the 2-1/2 hours is up take lid off Brownies for 1/2 hour.

I took the lid off after the time was up, put the lid back on and they stayed warm for hours. I did have a crock pot "wrap" so that probably helped them stay warm longer.

Enjoy!
And let me know how you like them. My family all raved. One family member said that's what I'm bringing to every gathering. My nephew said he could eat that whole thing! LOL!

Hi guys! I hope you're all having a great weekend!  I just wanted to wish all the Father's out there a very Happy Father's Day! I'm going to my sister's son's home for Father's Day.  The whole gang will be there.  Her two sons, their wife/girlfriend, my sister and her hubby, their daughter in law's parents and grandparents and their two boys. I'm bringing Lava Brownies, which is always a big hit.  It's gonna be a blast!  The two boys always keep it fun and entertaining. So, let's everyone have a great Father's Day!
